AASPT President Mike Reinold, who chaired the meeting, called the meeting to order at 7:32 pm E.T. and AASPT Executive Director Cory Martin confirmed that a quorum was present.

Meeting Minutes

Secretary Katie Lucas provided an update on the meeting minutes. 

To review and vote on the March minutes at the next meeting.

Finance Updates

Treasurer Lenny Macrina provided an update on the budget, including the Quarter 1 finances. Drafting FY 2024 budget with and without a dues increase. 

Marketing and Communications

Stu Kushner provided an update on marketing for the annual meeting and website task force. 

Bylaws

Parliamentarian Barney Poole and Member Jim Zachazewski joined the meeting and presented proposed amendments to the updated bylaws draft. These proposed amendments will be sent to the membership and the bylaws will be voted on May 21, 2024.

SIG Leadership Update 

Vice President Mike Mullaney provided an update on the upcoming Leadership Meeting, Educational & Specialization Committees Meetings, Knee SIG and Performance SIG Leadership, and Workflow Committee Meeting 5/2/24.

New Officer Onboarding

Executive Director Cory Martin will email the current and incoming officers to schedule transition meetings.

AOSSM 

Executive Director Cory Martin provided an update on the Thursday morning meeting at AOSSM in Denver.

ACL Consensus Project with ESSKA

President Mike Reinold provided an overview of an ACL Consensus Project with ESSKA. 

New Education Chair

President Mike Reinold provided an overview of what is needed for the new Education Committee Chair. 

SIG Webinar Schedule

President Mike Reinold provided an overview of the SIG webinar scheduling and multiple conflicts. This should improve with the updated SIG Policy.
