CEUs

CEUs for Athletic Trainers
Attendance at the in‑person 2026 AASPT Annual Conference may be worth up to 14.5 contact hours (1.5 CEUs).
AASPT is recognized by the Board of Certification (BOC) as an Approved Provider of continuing education for Athletic Trainers. BOC Approved Providers must meet the Standards and Policies & Procedures set by the BOC and are authorized to offer Category A continuing education programs.

CEUs for Physical Therapists
Attendance at the in‑person 2026 AASPT Annual Conference may be worth up to 14.5 contact hours (1.5 CEUs).

The American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy (AASPT), as a component of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), offers courses that are accepted in many states and the District of Columbia, subject to each state’s continuing education regulations.

A small number of states do not provide pre‑approval of AASPT/APTA courses and may require licensees to apply for credit independently.

Because CE regulations vary by state and may be updated at any time, attendees should consult their state regulatory board for current requirements. State board contacts are available through the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.

The number of CEUs/contact hours for each session, along with required assessments and downloadable certificates, will be available starting Monday, July 13. All post‑test assessments, certificate downloads, and any presenter‑shared handouts must be completed or downloaded by December 1, 2026.

Program Changes & Force Majeure

AASPT may modify the agenda, speakers, format, venue, or capacity at any time. If the event is postponed, substantially modified, or canceled due to circumstances beyond AASPT’s reasonable control (including weather, strikes, public health concerns, government action, or power/Internet outages), your sole remedy will be a transfer to a rescheduled event or a refund/credit, as determined by AASPT.

Cancellations, Refunds, and Substitutions

All requests must be sent to [email protected] using the same email address used for registration.

Refund Policy:
• 100% refund available until June 10, 2026
• 50% refund available until June 26, 2026
• No refunds beginning June 27, 2026

After June 26, 2026, only substitutions will be accepted at no charge if requested by email before July 9, 2026. No‑shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.

The Academy invites sports PT residents, fellows, and early-career professionals (≤5 years in practice) to submit research projects for the Emerging Sports PT Research Poster Session.

This session provides a platform for developing researchers to share their work, connect with AASPT members, and gain visibility in the field.
